Fuel Oil Prices

Average price of fuel oil in Maine is now $3.20. This is an increase of nearly $1 over last year’s price. Many in this state use kerosene which is running $3.60 a gallon.

The heating assistance program is overwhelmed. Our legislators are requesting more money from Washington to keep our folks warm through this winter. This is noble and necessary but we should have seen this coming and moved sooner.
