(Gas Prices) Impending Gas Price Increase - AM850

Gainesville residents prepare to adjust to rising gas prices. According to AAA Auto Club South and other analysts, gas prices may be expected to rise to four dollars a gallon, causing many local residents to change their driving routines. A Gainesville Cosmotoligist, DJ, claims if prices reach four dollars, she would have to move closer to her home in Fanning Springs. DJ travels to and from work every day causing her to fill up her 18-gallon pick-up truck twice a week. She says paying the amount she is now in Gainesville really puts a hole in her pocket. Currently the average price paid at the pump in Florida is three dollars and 25 cents. read more
