Matt Timion drives a 1971 Honda N-600, which has a 2-cylinder 30 horsepower motorcycle engine. But even though others may drive something else, he says essentially anyone can increase their fuel economy by 20 percent over the EPA estimate something he calls “hyper-miling. With the cost of gas more than $3 per gallon across the country, many people are looking for easy ways to save fuel. There are other ways to get better fuel economy, but some are illegal.
